The sisters of the Sacred Heart and their Associates worked together this Saturday to organise a fundraiser for Ukrainian refugees. The Coffee and Cakes event was an astounding success- a lovely morning of chat and fun, with wonderful entertainment provided by children from Mt St Catherines choir, Ivan Vazov First Bulgarian School and Farrah and Aoibheann ; both wonderfully talented dancers .
All the children in school had helped decorate the school hall on the theme of sunflowers. Thanks to all who kindly donated , especially the people who donated raffle prizes. We have raised £2,300 so far , which will aid Refugee projects that are connected to Sacred Heart Communities in Poland and Hungary .
