St. Brigid’s Crosses Workshop

The boys and girls had the pleasure of welcoming community and family members to school for a heartwarming St. Brigid’s Cross-making workshop. It was a truly special day, filled with laughter, creativity, and connection as everyone learned how to weave the traditional crosses from reeds. St. Brigid’s Cross, a symbol of protection and blessing, has deep roots in Irish tradition, and it was wonderful to see both students and their families creating their own versions of this meaningful craft. The event was not only a chance to strengthen bonds within the school community, but also a wonderful way to create cherished memories and develop new skills. It was a joy to see everyone coming together to share knowledge, laughter, and hands-on learning in such a meaningful way over a warm cuppa.
