Join our School Support Group 

Mount St. Catherine's Primary School is fortunate to enjoy the support of many parents who voluntarily give of their time to enable school events to happen and raise money for the direct benefit of pupils at the school.

Our Aim

We believe by being community spirited, we teach the pupils the importance of collaboration, commitment, accountability, respect and integrity.

Interested?

We would like to welcome anyone to join us either at the SSG meeting or as helpers at any of the events we hold. A few hours of your spare time will mean a lot of help to us to make our events as successful as possible and run smoothly – we’re a friendly and welcoming group!

We would love you to come along yourselves to see what it is like to take part and also have new members, who can bring new ideas.

Monies Raised

The money we raise from the events we hold throughout the year goes towards the purchase of key items/kit/trips for the pupils from Primary 1 through to Primary 7.

Examples of purchases we have made or supported in the past are:

• Picnic benches that you see throughout the school
• Laptops
• Themed Discos
• Plants & flowers
• Display cabinets throughout the school
• School/Eco Council Badges
• Cinema Treat
• Nurture Resources
• Play equipment 
• Plus numerous other items

Also every year we contribute towards bus hire for school trips.

None of this would be possible without the help and support from ALL parents and guardians.
