Excitement is in the air as our basketball after school club kicks off, bringing together pupils from P4 to P7 eager to learn and play the game. These pupils are set to develop their passion for basketball and soon will have the thrilling opportunity to showcase their talents in blitzes organized by the Cleveland Project, an initiative founded by Armagh native Shane Donnelly.
Inspired by the chance to play basketball for Lakewood High School in America through the original Irish American Sports Foundation initiative, Shane established the Cleveland Academy in September 2021 to create similar opportunities for today’s students.
We certainly think we have some basketball superstars in our midst at Mount St. Catherine's!
