P6 and P7 pupils recently had the exciting opportunity to cast their votes for school teams, experiencing a real democratic process. As a Unicef Rights Respecting School this is an important part of the pupil experience. We set up our very own voting stations, where students filled out their own ballot cards, carefully selecting their choices. It was a hands-on way for them to learn about voting, decision-making, and the importance of having their voices heard. This initiative not only fostered a sense of responsibility but also gave them a glimpse into how democratic processes work in the real world.
